Learn to self publish your own mini books. 'Zines* are a celebration of DIY culture. Everyone has a bit of knowledge, a story, something they wish to share with others. Making a booklet is a quick and easy way to distribute your ideas, artwork and more.
Depending on your message, there are unlimited creative options to share words and images with others. From simple to more complex options, we will share with you many possibilities and examples. Inspiration abounds. You will make at least two mini zines in this class and possibly more. You are only limited by your imagination.
Low stakes and high rewards describe the fun in making these mini 'zines!
A mix of vintage and modern materials supplied as well as your own kit to make more.
This is an in-person class.
*little magazines started in the 1920's with sci-fi fanzines and later popular in the punk and counter culture eras. 'Zines are now all that and even more popular as a personal media for expressing niche topics and ideas.
