Start off 2025 with fearless intention. Discover how to journal with creative abandon. If you have ever wondered where to start your journaling journey look no further! Explore design and layouts through a variety of techniques and materials. You'll learn tips and tricks to document more freely while creating beautiful layouts. We will start by discussing the various uses of journaling and why we document. Then peruse inventive materials with loads to try. All supplies are included so no need to bring a thing. Your workshop kit of ephemera and goodies has everything you need.
We will be using TRAVELER’S Notebooks for inspiration. Some techniques you will become familiar with are – tearing and painted papers, stamping, incorporating envelopes, using fabric, tip-ins, and creating collages. Let’s use our stash!
The three-hour experience will start with a getting to briefly know each other (sharing and swaps are encouraged) then get inspired with half a dozen ways to take your journal layouts to the next level. A longer workshop allows us to do a deep dive and get our hands dirty. You will have plenty of time to play and try new things, and actually finish. Please feel free to bring any materials to work with that inspire you. From favorite tools to bits and bobs, to content you have wanted to use but did not know what to do with.
This workshop is one part class, one part play. Get your creative juices flowing! Saturday January 18th in person. Come early and join our TRAVELER'S Notebook meet up from 10a - 12p. Register here for that. Sign up for both and the $25 meet up registration will be waived.
