Welcome to the Paper Seahorse Brush Lettering Course!
Whether you're picking up a brush pen for the very first time or looking to build a stronger foundation, this introductory lesson will prepare you for everything that follows. You'll get an overview of the course, learn how the lessons are organized, discover the tools you'll need, and understand the simple practice approach that will help you develop beautiful, confident lettering.
This course begins with five foundational lessons that teach the essential techniques of brush lettering before guiding you through every lowercase and uppercase letter of the alphabet. Each lesson builds on the previous one, allowing you to develop muscle memory and confidence one stroke at a time.
Take your time, enjoy the process, and remember—the goal isn't perfection. It's progress through consistent practice.

Introducing the new and improved Paper Seahorse Course Player
It's so easy to use. We built our own course player from scratch with you in mind. You can quickly find the lessons you need, play it once or loop it over and over as you practice. You can make it play slower or faster - find that "goldilocks" sweet spot for you!
All practice sheets are provided as a download link directly in your course player
NOTE: You must supply your own supplies. Not much, just pens and paper.
Materials Needed: Pens: We recommend Tombow Fudenosuke, soft tip Tombow Dual Brush Pen Paper: Tracing Paper. We recommend Canson Tracing paper Printer/copy paper is NOT recommemded. Its too rough and will hurt the tips of your pens.
